The story
It all began on a beach in Biarritz. Surfing, holidays, flip-flops in the sand… and over ten years spent crafting custom orthopaedic insoles and sandals for podiatrists, understanding every arch, every pressure point, every foot — because no two are identical.
For years, I searched for THE perfect sandal for their patients. The comfort of a custom-made pair… or the style of a summer sandal: you always had to choose. It didn't exist. So, I created it.
Your imprint, your pair
Thanks to Aztharna's exclusive technology, your feet are scanned in 3D directly from your phone: 4 photos per foot, a simple A4 sheet of paper as a reference, and a few minutes is all it takes. We obtain a precise, three-dimensional model of each of your feet — over 20 measurements, going far beyond a simple shoe size.
Each pair is then individually crafted based on your exact measurements. No standard sizes, no compromises.
Orthopaedic expertise
Every Aztharna model is designed with over ten years of expertise in manufacturing custom orthopaedic insoles and sandals, serving podiatrists and their patients: a dual-density footbed — firmer at the back to ensure support and prevent sagging over time, softer at the front for comfort — a non-slip sole, lightweight materials, and always adjustable straps, with buckles or hook-and-loop fasteners. Need an orthopaedic correction? It can be integrated into your pair upon simple request.
